Business Capacity Strengthening opportunity
Daima Associates Ltd. has been commissioned by Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) to support the Business Development Services (BDS) to tier 1 and tier 2 SMEs under MEDA’s Leveraging Equality for Gender-Inclusive Economic Development (LEGEND) project. The project covers five counties in the Lake Victoria region (Kisumu, Siaya, Homa Bay, Migori and Busia) and another six counties within the Coast region (Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, Taita Taveta, Makueni and Tana River) while focusing on Horticulture, Poultry, and Fisheries sectors. The BDS focuses on strengthening the growth prospects of SMEs and their supply chains by providing broad business and supply chain development consulting services. The support will also consider mainstreaming gender and environmental sustainability practices in the services.
