Endline Data Collection and cleaning for Colleges and Institutes Canada

Over seven years, through KBEST, Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan will work directly with 20 Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institutes (TVETIs), 2 specialized training institutions (Bandari Maritime Academy and Railways Training Institute), and 2 National Level Training Centres. The main goal of KBEST is to have youth, especially young women, equipped with job- and business-ready skills to contribute to key economic sectors associated with the Blue Economy (BE) in Kenya. KBEST builds on CICan’s experience and leadership in the Kenyan TVET sector and initiatives such as the Kenya Education for Employment Program (KEFEP), and Young Africa Works in Kenya-TVET (YAW-K). The partnerships will increase local training institutional capacity to deliver gender-responsive skills training programs in the BE sector that meet the needs of Kenyan industry and economic growth plans by leveraging Canadian college and institute expertise in partnership with Kenyan TVETIs to develop industry-relevant BE training programs.
